"I initially hesitated about the price of the hinge set, but decided to proceed after noticing similar prices for other hinges across various sites. What led me to choose Exmoor hinges over the others? The description of the engineering, the finish (which appeared superior in the photos), and the manufacturing in the UK instilled confidence that this was a cut above the rest.
When the package arrived, I opened it to find each hinge individually wrapped in thick paper bags for protection. I was immediately impressed that there was no plastic packaging. Upon closer inspection, the finish of the hinge is excellent, with a lovely engraved-like surface texture, and the engineering is certainly sturdy.
The instructions are clear, and fitting is straightforward when followed; however, one suggestion from a forum is to use thin wire through the nut clip to prevent the old nuts from falling into the bodywork during removal and again with the new replacement nuts."
